Exotic Hibiscus 'Queen Victoria'
A Softer 'Queen Victoria' on Day 2

The large 7-9" flowers of 'Queen Victoria' open with a dark blue body and a dark brown edge. Later in the day or the next day, the flowers soften to an antiqued lavender and ivory, like formal royal lace in a hibiscus garden. The flowers have beautiful form, worthy of a queen, and present just as beautifully upward and outward. 'Queen Victoria' gets its beautiful form and presentation from both parents, 'Simple Pleasures' and 'Space Oddity.' Strangely, the antiqued colors don't seem like they could possibly come from these parents! They must hark back to some blue-blooded relatives from the distant past. Released from HVH in 2011.
