Our new mini 'Wild Child' is definitely a wild child when it comes to blooming. In our greenhouse it blooms all year round with multiple blooms at all times. The 3-5" true mini flowers are vivid fuchsia with a lavender, purple or gray ring around the red eye. In summer the flowers look even wilder with bright white spots everywhere. Whatever time of year it is, the vivid, prolific blooms jump out across the greenhouse like wild and happy children who make you smile no matter what mood you're in. 'Wild Child' is the child of our well-known, classically wild hibiscus, 'Born to be Wild.' As could be expected from such wild stock, the father is unknown! 'Wild Child' grows into a full, well branched, and beautiful bush that blooms like crazy. Released from HVH in 2010. |
