'Whimsy' is one of our most changeable hibiscus varieties. The 5-7" single flowers display some variety of pink, yellow, orange, and ivory, from solid to striped to speckled, from ruffly to flat. Sometimes two flowers will open at the same time looking completely different on the same bush. 'Whimsy' certainly lives up to its name! The parents are the mini purple and orange hibiscus 'Gator Pride' and the brown hibiscus 'Cinnamon Girl' - proof of just how unpredictable hibiscus crosses can be. If you like surprises every time a flower opens, this hibiscus is for you. Released from HVH in 2011.
