Tropical Hibiscus 'Sparkling Water'

'Sparkling Water' blooms with cute mini flowers as a result of crossing the beautifully colored 'Vin Extraordinaire' with the vigorous and floriferous 'P's Purple.' The resulting 4-5" blooms are smoky blue with a pink edge that varies in size and intensity. Generally the flower opens with a bright pink edge that slowly softens to a very soft pink on the second day. In warmer weather, white effervescent spots and markings appear to be exploding out from the bright red eye of the flower. The bush is big and vigorous like mother 'P's Purple' and blooms prolifically. Released from HVH in 2010.
