Hibiscus 'Song Sung Blue'

'Song Sung Blue,' an excellent new blue hibiscus, has impressed us greatly with both the quality of the bush and the sheer proliferation of flowers. Neither mother 'Midnight Blue' nor father 'Blue President' has a particularly good bush, but their genes combined favorably to produce the fine bush you see at right. The blue 6-7" flower looks great with a pink edge and bright red eye. The bush is naturally very well branched and upright, allowing it to make many flowers. Released from HVH in 2010.
