'Scarlet Beauty' is a true beauty with large 7-9" pure, brilliant, scarlet flowers. Even the eye is scarlet, giving this hibiscus its uniquely brilliant red appearance. The bush is strong and vigorous as would be expected from the cross of 'Saffron' and 'Berried Treasure.' Like its sibling, the solid white hibiscus 'Ghost,' 'Scarlet Beauty' is one of the four large, solid-colored "podmates" featured in a previous HVH newsletter. Released from HVH in 2010. |
