'Samba Dancer'

'Samba Dancer' blooms with one of the prettiest and most flamboyant double flowers we have seen. The parents, 'Standing Ovation' and 'Acapulco Gold,' transferred both their colors and their strong growth habit to this new variety. In spring and fall, 'Samba Dancer' blooms with full, ruffly, cup-and-saucer flowers that are perfectly formed and up to 8" across. In mid-summer heat the flowers are smaller, the yellow edge wider, and the orange is softer. We expect Samba Dancer to grow to 4' in a pot and 6' in the ground. Released from HVH in 2010. |
