Tree & Shrub with Safari, Systemic Pest Control

Tree and Shrub with Safari is the best control available for both aphids and whiteflies. Spraying pest control products only kills the insects that actually get sprayed, and it does not kill eggs. Although some sprayed products do have a systemic effect, the effect lasts only 2-3 weeks. Tree and Shrub with Safari is a systemic, timed-release product that is sprinkled onto the soil at the base of the plant and watered in, which is by far the safest application method for gardeners. Once in the ground, it has a slow-release effect that lasts at least 2-3 months and works the most effectively of all aphid and whitefly treatments we have tried here at HVH. For in home use, the effect may last longer, and may need to be applied only once or twice a year. Tree and Shrub with Safari comes in a huge 7-lb container that is, unfortunately, expensive to purchase, but one container will last for many years as long as it is kept cool and dry.

Directions for Use:

• Make sure plants are slightly moist, neither very dry nor very wet.
• Sprinkle Tree and Shrub with Safari at these rates onto the soil around the base of the plant stem:
  • 4" Pot: 1/8 - 1/4 tsp
  • 6" Pot: 1/3 - 2/3 tsp
  • 8" Pot: 3/4 - 1 tsp
• Water each plant a little bit - until you see the Tree and Shrub with Safari disappear, but not so much that water comes out the bottom of the pot.
• Let your plants dry out a bit before you water again (up to 7 days), to make sure they soak up all the product.
• Use 1-4 times per year to control and prevent aphids, whiteflies, mealybug, and scale.
