Hibiscus 'Pinot Noir' with its Unusual Leaves

'Pinot Noir' is a wine-colored hibiscus with some unusual features. The 6-8" flowers vary from deep wine-red to dusky blue depending on weather conditions, but always look good enough to drink! The vigorous bush takes after mother, 'Creme de Cacao,' while the flower derives more influence from father, 'Moon Madness.' The foliage of this variety features large, 3-lobed leaves, very unique among modern hibiscus. A strong grower and good bloomer, we expect this bush to reach 4' in a pot and 6' in the ground. Released from HVH in 2010.
