Hibiscus 'Malibu Summer' in colder weather

'Malibu Summer' blooms with large 7-9" single flowers that are vivid shades of orange with a two-toned red eye and a soft white halo and rays in the heat of summer. In colder weather, the flower is bright yellow with a large, pure white halo around the red eye. The mother 'Saffron' gives 'Malibu Summer' the orange and yellow pigments, and father 'Bubble Gum Fun' gives it the changeability. If you like a different look at different times of year, this flower is a good one! The bush is upright and medium-sized. Released from HVH in 2011.
