Heartbreak Hotel is one of the few offspring of Wild Thing, this cultivar tamed the wildness of its parent by showing itself as a well formed deep brick red, orange, and yellow bloom with varying amounts of contrasting gold spots and splashes. The flower is 6-8", fully overlapped with good texture, and is held upright on an attractive, medium-sized, compact bush. Heartbreak Hotel will grow to 4', and is always full and well foliated. It is the child of Sunbeam and Wild Thing. An HVH classic, first released in 1998.
