Hibiscus 'Ghost'
'Ghost' Opening with a Pink Tinge that will Turn to White

'Ghost' blooms with a pure white 7-9" flower. All "white" hibiscus can sometimes open with a yellowish tinge or a pinkish tinge, that then becomes pure white. 'Ghost' is the only white we know that can bloom with both pinkish and yellowish tinges. Sometimes two flowers will open at the same time, one yellowish and the other pinkish, then within a few hours both flowers become pure white and stay white and blooming for 3 days. The parents of 'Ghost' are the bright orange 'Saffron' and the pure lavender 'Berried Treasure.' Some of you may remember our featured article on the four solid-colored podmate seedlings of this cross - one red, one fuchsia, one white, and one brown. 'Ghost' is the white podmate, and we are pleased to offer it for sale now. Brand new from HVH in 2010. Hybridizer: C. Black
