Exotic Hibiscus 'Electric Red'
'Electric Red' is a fantastic red variety, a sibling of 'Electric Orange' from the same parents 'Saffron' and 'Rosalind.' 'Electric Red' is impressive in the brightness of the flower and the contrast between the red petals and the pure white eye. It differs from 'Electric Orange' by showing more ruffles and tufts along the edges of each of the five petals, making it a fancier flower. Both varieties open flowers 6 to 8 inches wide. The bush of 'Electric Red' takes after the excellent bushes of both parents - strong, upright, and displaying pretty green foliage. Anyone looking for bright garden color would not go wrong with either of these electrifying beauties! Released from HVH in 2010.
