'Cherry Appaloosa'![]() ![]() |
![]() Ever since it was introduced 'Cherry Appaloosa' has garnered praise from Miami to Los Angeles, and South America to Europe. This large, 7-9" (18-23 cm) cherry red bloom is beautifully contrasted by snow white spots and a pure white center eye. The color is always red and white, with more white in the heat of a Texas summer and more red in the relative cool of the coastal California winter, but always with that great color combination. The medium-sized bush has a tendency to grow horizontal branches, so we recommend careful pruning and staking when young to develop a better looking, more upright bush, if that is important to you. This cross of 'Morgan Alyssa' and 'Rebellious Spirit' makes for a floriferous plant with especially beautiful, large blooms. Released from HVH in 2004.   |
