Mixing water soluble fertilizer, such as the HVH Special Blend, into a bucket and applying to the hibiscus is the best way to feed them. However, not everyone can do this regularly. If you know that you are one of those who are likely to do it less often than is ideal there is a practical solution. Apply time release as the nutrition base and then ccontinue to use the water soluble when you can get to it. The time release will help the plants stay healthy and productive during the times they are not receiving the premium Special Blend.
HVH Recommended Timed-Release Fertilizer has both the nitrogen/phosphorus/potassium and minor minerals plants need. Apply it once only and it will feed your hibiscus (and other plants) up to 6 months. This 3-lb container of Timed-Release fertilizer is enough for dozens of plants. Exact application instructions included with the order. Shipped in a plastic tub with press-on lid. More Info

Synergy is not a fertilizer and does not replace fertilizer. It is used as a supplement to your regular fertilizing program, the way humans add supplements to their regular food to increase nutrition and health. We have used it in conjunction with both our fertilizer and our hibiscus booster in our regular fertilizing program. One bottle of Synergy makes 150-300 gallons of irrigation water in normal usage.
