'Burnished Plum's' flowers are 6-7" tufted singles in lavenders and lilacs with a soft pink eye. 'Burnished Plum's' colors change with the season, from the softest lavender to a strongly marked mix of purple, white, pink, and even red at times. The bush is medium-sized with highly serrated leaves. 'Burnished Plum' is the offspring of Burnished Gold and Frosted Plum. Its father, 'Frosted Plum,' had a beautiful flower but a terrible bush that would not stand upright. 'Burnished Plum' has an equally beautiful flower, but a much improved, upright bush. Released from HVH in 2006.
