Hibiscus 'Blue Ballerina' - A Prolific Bloomer!

'Blue Ballerina's' flower is a deep blue 3-5" mini with a dainty red eye surrounded by pristine white with a starburst of white rays. The flowers only last 1-2 days, but it blooms constantly, even as a very young plant in a 4" pot. It was almost an HVH throw-away because of the short bloom time, but the young test plants in 4" pots bloomed so frequently that 'Blue Ballerina' became a favorite for everyone at HVH. A mature bush opens multiple flowers almost every day. 'Blue Ballerina' makes a beautiful houseplant, and blooms as well in the house as outside. It is the offspring of 'P's Purple' and 'Kirk's Purple.' Released from HVH in 2008.
